From Mexico City to Monterrey, our Espacio Vogue experience brought together eyewear, spontaneous encounters and different ways to express personal style.

In April and September 2026, we brought Sobrados eyewear to Espacio Vogue in Mexico City and Monterrey. We shared conversations, tried on different designs and explored different ways to express personal style.

A connection that started with friends

Our story with Espacio Vogue began with mutual friends who knew both us and the event. They saw a natural connection and encouraged us to apply.

From Mexico City to Monterrey

Both experiences gave us a chance to meet people beyond a screen, one pair at a time.

Isadora Vives’s choice: Croco Wine

During Espacio Vogue Mexico City in April 2026, we collaborated with Isadora Vives on a “What’s in my shopping bag” video. Isadora chose Croco Wine, an acetate frame in a shade between wine and terracotta, and tried it on camera.

The Wine color is sold out at the time of writing. You can explore the same design in black and turquoise blue: Croco Black and Croco Blue.

Mallory Caballero discovers our designs

During Espacio Vogue Monterrey, Mexican model Mallory Caballero stopped by our stand and tried different designs from our collection.

Mario Blásquez’s first impressions

We also welcomed Mario Blásquez, an architect and content creator, who tried on our eyewear and shared his first impressions on camera.

He tried Zomer Beige and Harmony Brown. His spontaneous, positive Mexican expressions caught our attention as Argentinians and became one of the memorable details of our Monterrey experience.

Three ways to give your look a different character

After trying different frames, take a look at the whole outfit. These three ideas can help you experiment with the eyewear you already own or your next pair. We suggest starting here.

Let color take the lead

A white T-shirt, denim or an all-black outfit can provide a simple base for colorful eyewear. Try keeping other accessories understated and giving the frames room to stand out.

Pick up a shade

Choose a color from your eyewear and echo it in a piece of clothing, a bag or an accessory. Everything does not need to match exactly: a small detail can bring the look together.

Change the proportions

If you usually choose small frames, try a larger pair; if you prefer rounded lines, explore a more angular shape. See how it works with your outfit and choose what feels comfortable and enjoyable to wear.

There is no single right way to look. The idea is to experiment and discover what you want to highlight each day.

Sobrados in Vogue México

In its Espacio Vogue coverage, Vogue México highlighted two aspects that reflect who we are: designs inspired by electronic music, travel and nature, and the ability of eyewear to transform a look. Seeing our approach reflected in that coverage was meaningful to us: it connects with what we aim to express through each collection.
